I grew up as the son of a developer who created thousands of residences in the San Fernando Valley, being taught the real estate business from acquisition, entitlement, construction and sale. Early in my career I was responsible for coordinating all phases of planning and entitling for large planned unit developments, including product selection. I was then the VP of Marketing and Sales for the 7th largest building company in America and later I took a position as troubleshooter for the largest REIT in the country at the time.
In 1976, I started my own construction and development company building and developing thousands of dwellings in Los Angeles. Whether industrial tilt-up, commercial and office buildings or residential, I was responsible from concept to completion. During this time, I subdivided numerous properties; always interacting with City/Country/State representatives personally, and developing relationships that have lasted for years.
I was Chief Operating Officer of a full service design build company with 32 employees specializing in expanding retail and supermarket chains in California and Nevada. We developed and built a multitude of stores and supermarkets for Dollar General, Vallarta Supermarkets, Seven-Eleven, JoAnn’s Fabrics and many other national chains.
Recently, I have been utilizing my experience as Owner’s Representative guiding clients from acquisition to completion.
